This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Nagapattinam to accept the surrender of the petitioner in connection with the Crime No.12 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police and to consider the petitioner's bail application on the same day.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner in this case has already been arrested on 03.02.2023 and remanded to Judicial custody. Thereby, the prayer become infructuous.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition is Dismissed as Infructuous.
