O R D E R

The petitioner, claiming to be one of the member of the Advisory Committee appointed by the Wakf Board in the year 2013 and in 2016, has come to this Court seeking for a direction to the respondents to conduct elections by secret ballot to the Poorviga Pallivasal, Udumalpet, Tirpur District based on the petitioner's representation dated 12.04.2018. 2.Even though the Executive Officer has prepared the voters list as early as on 07.10.2016, till date, the bye-laws have not been enacted. As a result, no elections have been held and now, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Ramzan is also fast approaching. In the interest of the Wakf Board, the petitioner, being one of the member of the Advisory Committee, has given a representation dated 12.04.2018 to the respondents to conduct elections by secret ballot, but till date no response is forthcoming.

3.The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents sought four months time to hold elections by secret ballot.

4.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to complete the process of holding elections by secret ballot within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
