Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent to grant permission to the petitioner and their community members to worship and celebrate their annual pongal festival at Arulmigu Sri Pancha Karupparayan swamy temple, Kondaiyampalayam Village, Gobichettipalayam Taluk, Erode District dated 18.04.2018 to 20.04.2018 as per order of the second respondent dated 19.03.2018 and considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.04.2018. ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the fourth respondent to grant permission to him and their community members to worship and celebrate the Annual Pongal Festival at Arulmigu Sri Pancha Karupparayan Swamy Temple, Kondaiyampalayam Village, Gobichettipalayam Taluk, Erode District dated 18.04.2018 to 20.04.2018 as per order of the second respondent dated 19.03.2018 and considering his representation dated 02.04.2018. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for R1, R2 and R4 would submit that the Annual Pongal Festival having started yesterday also been peacefully celebrated today and it is going to be over tomorrow. Therefore, there is no necessity for passing any further order. 3.Recording the submission made by both learned counsel, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
