This impleading application is filed by an individual member of the Nazerath Diocese, which functions under the aegis of the CSI. The applicant makes assertions in respect of the impugned meetings of the Diocesan Council.

2. Learned senior counsel appearing for the first to fifth defendants in the suit submits that these defendants refute all the allegations in the affidavit. It is further submitted that the maintainability of the suit is being questioned.

3. Learned counsel for the plaintiff has no objection to this applicant being impleaded.

4. At this juncture, it is unnecessary to record any findings with regard to the veracity of the allegations made by the applicant. The question relating to the maintainability of the suit is also left open. Given the nature of the suit, the applicant would, at a minimum, quality as a proper party whose presence would enable the Court to effectively adjudicate the issues arising for consideration.

5. Therefore, this impleading application is allowed. The plaintiff is directed to carry out the consequential amendments in the plaint on or before 28.02.2023.
