The prayer sought for in the Writ Petition is to transfer the investigation in Crime No.95 of 2003 from the file of the Inspector of Police, E-5 Pattinapakkam Police Station, Foreshore Estate, Chennai to the file of the CB-CID, Tamil Nadu.

2. Since the Crime Number relates to the year 2003 and the Writ Petition has been kept pending for the past 14 years, it would not be appropriate to entertain the prayer sought for by the petitioner to transfer the investigation.

3. Though there are no instructions from the official respondents, there is much possibility that the investigation would have been completed by now. Even otherwise, the ordering transfer of investigation at this belated stage will not be proper. Hence, the Writ Petition stands dismissed.
