2.The Sub Inspector of Police Thimiri Police Station, Vellore District ..Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents police to produce the detenue by namely Tmt Archana, who is aged about 23 years, before this Court and set her liberty.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.,] The above petition has been filed by the petitioner/fatherin-law of the detenue, to cause production of his daughter-inlaw Archana, aged 23 years, who is said to be missing, before this Court and to set her at liberty.
It is the case of the petitioner that his son Rajasekar who is serving in military, got married to one Archana, the detenue herein on 22.04.2015 and they lived only for 20 days. After his son went back and reported duty, his daughter-in-law went missing on 06.07.2015, in connection with which a case in Cr.No.258/2015 for "woman missing" has been registered and since the respondent police had not taken appropriate steps to secure the detenue, the present petition has been filed. Today, the detenue Archana has been secured and produced before this Court by the respondent police. The https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner/father-in-law and one Alamelu, the mother of the detenue are also present.
On enquiry, the detenue stated that on account of marital discord, she left her matrimonial home and did not go to her parental home because she feared that her parents will pacify her and ask her to once again go and rejoin her husband and therefore, she had gone to her friend's house at Chennai. The detenue further expressed her willingness to go along with her mother, to which proposal, the petitioner herein has also agreed.
Recording the submission of the detenue, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed as nothing further remains to be considered.
