This petition is filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, to condone the delay of 242 days in preferring the Criminal Revision against the order dated 16.03.2021 in C.A. No.35 of 2020 passed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem.

2.The learned counsel for the respondent, even though filed a detailed counter affidavit, did not raise any serious objection in allowing this petition. This Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, the petition is allowed.
