ORDER
The writ petition is filed with a prayer to direct the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 27.12.2025 and to cancel the Settlement deed dated 07.09.2022 in Doc. No.3046 of 2022 on the file of the second Respondent.
2. Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and perusing the material records of the case, the representation is found to be an application under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and the same is pending before the first respondent, who is the appropriate authority.
3. This Court is not expressing any view on the merits of the case. In view of the innocuous prayer that is made, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage with the following direction: The first respondent shall take up the application of the petitioner dated 27.12.2015, issue notice to the petitioner as well as all persons interested, complete the enquiry and pass final orders thereon as expeditiously as possible, in any event not later than three months from the date of receipt of the web copy of this order. No costs.
