Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order of the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.K1/41038/2006 dated 04.07.2009 and quash the same as illegal, arbitrary, without jurisdiction and consequently, directing the 4th respondent to make endorsement in the priority category in my Employment Exchange Registration Card and give the priority to me in the matter of Employment as per G.O.Ms.No.188 (Personnel and Administrative Reforms), dated 28.12.1976, pursuant to the Priority Certificate issued by the 2nd respondent in K1/41038/2006 dated 07.07.2006. This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned order of the 1st respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the 4th respondent to make endorsement in the priority category in the petitioner's Employment Exchange Registration Card.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the very same issue was already decided by this Court in the case of J.Mohan and others Vs. District Collector, Namakkal, Namakkal District and another, reported in (2010) 4 MLJ 807. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition and he prayed to pass appropriate orders.
3. So, in view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition, and accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
