The petitioner, who is the wife of the detenu Palanisamy, son of late Perumal, aged about 43 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order Cr.M.P.No.40/Bootlegger/2015 C1 dated 14.11.2015 passed by the second respondent against her husband branding him as a "Bootlegger" as contemplated under section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2.As the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this petition has become infructuous and nothing survives for adjudication in it, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
