Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 6th respondent to consider his representation dated 21.01.2022.

ORDER

Mr. Rahul Adithya, learned counsel for Ms.P.T.Ramadevi accepts notice for R1 to R5 and Mrs. G. Thamaraiselvan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for R6 and both learned counsels are in receipt of sufficient instructions, enabling final disposal of the matter.

2. This writ petition is premature insofar as the petitioner has approached this Court for a mandamus directing the 6th respondent to consider his representation, filed as recently as on 21.01.2022. It is seen that there is an acknowledgment of receipt of the aforesaid representation, which is placed at page 56 of the compilation of documents.

3. Seeing as the petitioner is a senior citizen, Mrs.G.Thamaraiselvan, Special Government Pleader assures the Court that R6 will look into the representation, hear the petitioner or his authorized representative and dispose the same expeditiously, in any event, within a period of eight weeks from today.

4. This writ petition disposed is the above terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
