Crl.O.P.No.2179 of 2024 Crl.O.P.No.2179 of 2024 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 29.12.2023 registered for the offences under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii) (B) of NDPS Act, 1985 in Crime No.31 of 2023 seeks bail.

2. The learned Government Advocate stated that the anticipatory application filed by the co-accused is dismissed as withdrawn in Crl.O.P.No.1203 of 2024. Hence, there is a possibility for the co-accused to abscond. He further submitted that investigation is still pending.

3. In view of that particular fact, I am not inclined to grant bail. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 19.02.2024 smn 1/2 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
