Teacher (Tamil) for 2010-11 Petitioner (Roll No.11PG01240027) as published in the website of the 1st respondent on 04.04.2012, quash the same and issue consequential directions to the respondents to select and appoint the petitioner as P.G. Assistant (Tamil) for the year 2010-11 in accordance with the Employment Exchange Registration Seniority with all consequential benefits.

When the matter was taken up for hearing on earlier occasion, the learned counsel for the petitioner was granted time to get instructions since the age of the petitioner at the time of filing the writ petition was 45 years old and the recruitment was pertaining to the year 2012. As on date, the age of the petitioner is 57 years old, whether he is prosecuting the case or not.

2. Today, 01.02.2024, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has no instructions from his client to pursue the case, and he has also filed a Memo dated 01.02.2024 to that effect before this Court.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the Memo dated 01.02.2024 filed by him, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected 2/4
