O R D E R

The prayer in the present petition is punish the respondent herein for committing contempt of the orders of this Court dated 08.11.2017 in W.P. No. 26574 of 2017

2. Heard Ms.P.T.Asha, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.D.Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

3. By an earlier order dated 08.11.2017 passed in W.P. No. 26574 of 2017, the third respondent viz., The Inspector of Police, Ramanathapuram Police Station, Thittakudi/ respondent herein was directed to extend police protection to the petitioners for the purpose to putting up construction. Since the respondent has not complied with the directions of this Court, the present Contempt Petition came to be filed.

4.Today, when the matter was called, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that in compliance of the order of this Court, the third respondent had extended necessary protection and thereby the petitioner have also completed the construction.

5. In view of the same, no further orders are required in the present Contempt Petition. Accordingly the present Contempt Petition stands closed.
