ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the petition in Crl.O.P.No.1114 of 2016, by order dated 27.01.2016, directed the respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence he should proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

2.Now, the present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the said order dated27.10.2016 passed by this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up, a counter affidavit has been filed by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the respondent. In the counter affidavit, it has been stated that an enquiry has been conducted and the allegations made in the complaint filed by the petitioner were found to be false; hence, the complaint given by the petitioner was closed. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the order of this Court has been duly complied with the respondent.

4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in the present contempt petition. Hence, the Contempt Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
