Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus to direct the respondents to produce the detenue Sangeetha, minor, aged 17 years, D/o.Late Iyyappan before this Court and set her at liberty. For Petitioner :

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN,J.) This Habeas Corpus petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to produce the detenue-Sangeetha, minor, aged about 17 years, daughter of Late Iyyappan, before this Court and set her at liberty.

2.Today, the alleged detenue - Sangeetha has been produced before this Court by the respondent police. Tmt.Indira - the mother of the detenue is also present along with her. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.On enquiry, the alleged detenu stated that she is with her mother and there is no illegal detention by anybody at present. 4.In view of the categorical statement made by the alleged detenue that she is with her mother and she is not under the illegal custody of anybody, nothing further remains to be considered in this petition. Recording the said statement of the alleged detenue, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. No costs.
