O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 25.11.2024 wherein the petitioners are seeking for issuance of patta in their names with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.M.Ravi, learned counsel for petitioners and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. The specific case of the petitioner is that they are doing agricultural activities in the subject property and the kist receipts also stand in their name. They made a representation to the second respondent seeking for patta. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case 2/4

and the relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit an OnLine application to the second respondent seeking for patta. On receipt of the same, the second respondent shall take a decision and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of the OnLine application from the petitioner.
