Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for records connected with the proceedings of the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.No.215/2009 dated 06.07.2009 and quash the same insofar as it has not allowed the scale of pay of the pump operator viz Rs.950-20-1150-25-1500 in the ordinary grade (V pay commission) to the petitioner as ordered in G.O.Ms.No.588 dated 01.08.1992 and further direct the first respondent to implement the proceedings Na.Ka.No.932/95 dated 20.04.1995 and Mu.Mu.11/96/Tha-A dated 20.02.1996 both passed by the first respondent and other consequential benefits of fifth and sixth pay commission pay from 01.06.88 and monetary effect from 01.04.1992.

ORDER

Mr.Arvind Rajagopal, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that they have no instructions in the matter and hence, the writ petition may be closed.

2. Learned counsel for the respondents have brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner is no more. Thus, in the interests of justice, let a copy of the order be dispatched by Registered Post/Speed Post with acknowledgement due to the address of the petitioner in the cause title. If the legal heirs desire to revive the writ petition, liberty is granted to them to do so, within a period of eight (8) weeks from date of service of the order at the address given.
