Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Certiorari to call for the records of the 2nd Respondent/Superintending Engineer, CEDC/Metro/Coimbatore pertaining to the Orders issued by him, pursuant to the final proceedings of the hearing held on 16.09.2008 and 22.09.2008 in respect of S.C.No.1409, T.K.Puram, 231-C, Trichy Main Road, Sulur, Coimbatore and quash the same. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is not in a position to proceed with this case and hence, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

writ petition may be closed. In support of the said submission, he has filed a letter dated 18.12.2018 sent by the petitioner to him, wherein, it is stated as follows:

"Received your letter dated 13.12.2018. Thank you for all the follow up action in W.P.No.-30556 of 2008. I am to state that due to my age and falling health coupled with abandonment of my business partners, I am unable and not in a position to proceed further in the case. Please do the needful in this regard and oblige."

2.Recording the submission so made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and on the basis of the letter written by the petitioner to his counsel, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
