ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying to quash an order, dated 25.05.2010 and for consequential direction to include the petitioner's name in the list of eligible Gang Mazdoors for promotion to the post of the Road Inspector Grade II.

2. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that, vide proceedings, dated 27.01.2012, the relief prayed for by the petitioner is granted and a copy of the said order is also produced, in which, the name of the petitioner finds place in Serial No.1, and consequently, promotion was also granted to the petitioner, hence, nothing survives in the Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
