The petitioner challenges the order of transfer dated 16.01.2021 issued by the fourth respondent. By the said order, the petitioner, who was serving as Deputy General Manager, NTPC Ltd., at Vallur Ennore was transferred to Talaipalli.

2. The learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 placed on record the proceedings dated 12.04.2021, wherein it is stated that the petitioner Page Nos.2/4

joined duty at the transferred place on 05.04.2021 and subsequently, retired from service, on attaining the age of superannuation on 01.02.2022.

3. In the light of the above subsequent developments, the relief sought for in the present writ petition does not survive for further adjudication.

4. Accordingly, the captioned Writ Petition sands dismissed as infectious. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
