This writ petition has been filed forbearing the respondents 2 to 4 from granting any housing site patta within 300 meters from the petitioner's quarry site comprised in S.F.No.11 Part admeasuring 2.00.0 Hectares in Vembaneri Village, Edappadi Taluk, Salem District.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that the period of lease is already over and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. However, the learned counsel submitted that the petitioner may be granted liberty to approach the authority concerned for any other relief.

3. Granting such liberty to the petitioner, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
