Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to cause verification of the membership of the Unions in respect of workers who would have to be transferred to the 1st respondent Corporation, viz., TANGEDCO and the 2nd respondent Corporation, viz., TANTRANSCO respectively based on the activities of generation and distribution and confer recognition on the basis of such verification and discuss the issues only with the representative unions and in particular, not to proceed based on the recognition conferred by the 3rd respondent Board and issue such further or other appropriate orders .

2. It is stated that the Tripartite Agreement was entered into between the petitioner namely, Bharathiya Electricity Employees Federation TANTRANSCO, TANGEDCO and the Trade Unions and Associations representing Officers as well as employees (Sl.No.14) on 12.02.2024 and they have also signed in the said Agreement.

3. Recording the aforestated submissions, this writ petition stands disposed of. There is no order as to costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
