Appln Nos. 420 & 421 of 2021 Application Nos. 420 and 421 of 2021 -- R. SUBBIAH, J Both these applications are filed by the learned Administrator General and Official Trustee. The Application No. 420 of 2021 has been filed seeking permission to effect paper publication in any one of the Tamil Newspapers having Chennai Edition with respect to auction of the properties set out in the application, Application No. 421 of 2021 to permit the learned Administrative General and Official Trustee to meet the cost of paper publication and inspection expenses from the Trust Estates Properties to be leased out. 2.

These applications are filed with the object of securing prospective lessees connected to various Trust estates situated in different localities of the City. Admittedly, the properties set out in the application are lying vacant and if they are let out on lease, it would fetch some amount which could be utilised for charitable purpose. Further, the properties are in very old condition and therefore it was decided to lease them out in as is where is condition. The upset price has also been fixed by the learned Administrator General and Official Trustee based on the report of the qualified Engineer. Therefore, unless the properties of the Trust Estates are put to some use and the income is generated thereof no one will be benefited.
