Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent herein to survey and fix the boundaries of the petitioner's land situated in Pudhukkottai Village, Senthamangalam Taluk, comprised in S.Nos.133/5 and 133/9 in an extent of 0.50.50 and 0.28.00 Hectares respectively by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.09.2022.

O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent herein to survey and fix the boundaries of the petitioner's land situated in Pudhukkottai Village, Senthamangalam Taluk, comprised in S.Nos.133/5 and 133/9 in an extent of 0.50.50 and 0.28.00 Hectares respectively by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.09.2022.

2. In order to survey the land and to subdivide the same after identifying the boundaries of the petitioner's land at S.Nos.133/5 and 133/9 in an extent of 0.50.50 and 0.28.00 Hectares respectively, the petitioner has submitted an application dated 30.09.2022 to the respondents and also has paid necessary fee towards the same. In order to consider the said application and to do the needful by the 2nd respondent, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.M.Prem Kumar learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that, the said application submitted by the petitioner dated 30.09.2022 would be considered and the needful would be undertaken by the 2nd respondent within a time frame 2 / 4

that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order.

" That there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner dated 30.09.2022 and do the needful by completing the survey of the land as sought for therein within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
