Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records in Roc.No.8268/2008/A3 & 7767/2008/A3 dated 03.10.2008 & 16.09.2008 respectively, of the respondent and quash the same, consequently, direct the respondent to post the petitioners in the same post. For Petitioner in both W.Ps :Mr.K.Sathish For Respondent in both W.Ps :Mr.M.Muthusamy, Government Advocate COMMON ORDER Today, when the matters were taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the relief sought by the petitioners has become infructuous since the petitioner in W.P.No.30671 of 2008 had retired from service on 31.10.2014 and the petitioner in W.P.No.30672 of 2008 was terminated from service on 24.01.2017. Therefore, nothing survives in these petitions for further adjudication.

2. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, these writ petitions are dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
