VELMURUGAN CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.1764 of 2019 in CRL.RC.NO.1514/2018 RAJAN [ PETITIONER/APPELLANT/ACCUSED] Vs S.JAWAHAR [ RESPONDENT ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to extend the time imposed by this Hon'ble Court in Crl.M.P.17714 of 2018 in Crl.R.C.No.1514 of 2018 on 21.12.2018.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.J.FRANKLIN, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.J.BHARATHI RAJA, on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking extension of time to comply with the order dated 21.12.2018, granting suspension of sentence.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is taking steps to settle the matter amicably and hence he could not comply with the order in time and hence he seeks extension of time to comply with the conditions imposed by this Court. This Court in its order dated 21.12.2018 has clearly stated that the if the petitioner failed to comply with the any of the conditions imposed, the interim order of suspension of sentence shall stand vacated automatically without any further reference to this Court. time as prayed for by the petitioner and the miscellaneous petition is dismissed.
