2.

The writ petition, in W.P.No.550 of 2015, filed by the writ petitioner seeking release of the vehicle Skoda Car bearing Regn. No.TN-07-BE-0505, was considered and dismissed, on 27-01-2015, recording the fact that the final confiscation order has been passed on 17-01-2015, by the first respondent. Thus, the appellant/writ petitioner is required to question the legality of the confiscation order, if so advised, under provisions of law. Accordingly, the learned Single Judge has rightly dismissed the writ petition holding that nothing survives for consideration at that stage. 3.

We have examined the case in its entirety. We are unable to take any contrary view other than the one taken by the learned Single Judge. The writ appeal is dismissed. No costs. The connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS-V) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar glp To 1.
