2. The petitioner is aggrieved against the non-selection to the post of Helper in the direct recruitment process held in the year 2009. Pending the Writ Petition, the petitioner was permitted to participate in the recruitment process held in the year 2016 and while considering the petitioner's candidature, the 1st respondent found him to be ineligible, since he had obtained 71.32% of marks as against the cut-off mark 80.03% for the MBC category. Since the 1st respondent had already given an opportunity to participate in the subsequent recruitment process and found the petitioner ineligible in view of the marks obtained by him, this Court is of the view that, the prayer sought for in the present Writ Petition does not deserve consideration.
