PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records from the first respondent's proceedings of Na.Ka.No.3693/05, ka 8 dated 24.07.2005, relating to cancellation of patta of the petitioners and quash the same and consequently to direct the first and second respondents to permit the petitioners to reside in their respective allotted houses in S.F.Nos.586/2,3A and 588/1,2,5 of Malumichamppati Village, Madukkarai Union, Coimbatore South Taluk. This petition has been filed seeking to quash the first respondent's proceedings of Na.Ka.No.3693/05,ka 8 dated 24.07.2005, relating to cancellation of patta of the petitioners and to direct the first and second respondents to permit the petitioners to reside in their respective allotted houses in S.F.No.586/2,3A and 588/1,2,5 of Malumichamppati Village, Madukkarai Union, Coimbatore South Taluk.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the Writ Petition itself has become infructuous.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
