When this writ petition was taken up, the learned Additional Govt.Pleader appearing for the respondents has submitted that the prayer of the petitioners has been met with by the respondents by making reference of the petitioners' lands in question, to the Court under Sections 18(2) and 19(1) of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Land Acquisition Act. He has also produced a copy of the proceedings in Lr.No.R.C.A/48/2001 issued in September 2004 by the Special Tahsildar (Land Acquisition), Mirugandanadhi Reservoir Project, Polur addressed to the Subordinate Judge, Arni, in this connection.
2.In view of the above, nothing further remains to be considered in this writ petition and accordingly the writ petition is closed. No costs.
