ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the properties morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representations, dated 05.12.2025, 08.12.2025 and 10.12.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. At the outset, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner will have to submit an online application with the respondents to enable the respondents to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is willing to submit a fresh online application with the respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's application seeking for issuance of patta for the properties morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's application.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the petitioner to submit an online application with the 2nd respondent seeking for issuance of patta for the properties morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition in his favour, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said online application within the stipulated time, the 2nd respondent shall pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, on the said application, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and Page No.3 of 6

after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other third party, whom the 2nd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks thereafter.

6. With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
