ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 22.12.2014 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. Today, the respondent police have filed counter, wherein it is stated as follows in paragraph no.11:

"11. It is submitted that after completion of the detailed enquiry based on the examination witnesses and material documents, the above said CSR No.541/2014 was closed by me on 25.01.2015 in accordance with law. Hence, the prayer of the petitioner praying to register his complaint is not at all maintainable for the reason stated above."

A copy of the Closure Report has been served on the learned counsel for the petitioner/defacto complainant across the bar.
