Mr.S.Sairaman Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 06.12.2018 made by the petitioner to sanction pensionary and other monetary benefits of the petitioner's husband within the time to be stipulated.

O R D E R

The petitioner's husband, who was working as a conductor in the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation, Erode Region, Erode, retired on 31.12.2009 and subsequently died on 04.06.2018. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the retirement benefits of her deceased husband have not been settled by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondents. In this regard, she has submitted many representations to the respondents and the last one was on 06.12.2018. As the same has not been considered, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking appropriate relief.

2. Mr.S.Sairaman, takes notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.12.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, and pass orders after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
