Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has received the terminal benefits, therefore, the prayer sought in the writ petition has become infructuous and nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition. The learned counsel for the petitioner has also made an endorsement to that effect.
