O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the Labour Court, Kancheepuram, to consider the nine additional documents filed by the petitioner as Management side evidence in I.D.No.18 of 2020 and take the same on record.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner Management filed I.D.No.18 of 2020 before the Labour Court, Kancheepuram, and during trial, the petitioner Management attempted to file an application to mark the additional documents under Order VIII Rule 1A(3) C.P.C, however, the same was not allowed to be marked by the Labour Court. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for the aforesaid prayer.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner Management.

4. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the respondent, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the Labour Court, Kancheepuram, to permit the petitioner to mark the additional documents as per Rule 39 of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Disputes Rules, 1958, and dispose of I.D.No.18 of 2020, after providing opportunity to the petitioner and the respondent.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
