The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents herein to survey and fix the boundaries of the petitioner's land situated at Kanthampatti Village, Salem Town, Ward-T, Block 10, comprised in T.S.No.13/2, measuring to an extent of 96 cents equaling 0.39.00 Hectare by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.06.2022.

The petitioner in order to survey his land situated at Kanthampatti Village, Salem Town, Ward-T, Block 10, comprised in T.S.No.13/2, measuring to an extent of 96 cents equaling 0.39.00 Hectare has given representation on 06.06.2022, which, in fact, had been given after waiting for sometime after paying the necessary fee on 07.07.2020 to survey the land and the said representation also since has not been considered, he has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.S.Senthil, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Ms.N.Devi, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 1st respondent and Mrs.N.Senthil Selvi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the 2nd respondent.

4. The learned Government Advocate for the 2nd respondent would 2/4

submit that, the application submitted by the petitioner dated 06.06.2022 would be considered and needful would be undertaken by the 2nd respondent within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the aforestated, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders: There shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 06.06.2022 and do the needful by completing the survey sought for therein within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
