CORAM:

THE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN S.Thangadurai ....

....

Respondent Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.11.2024, 03.01.2025 and 23.01.2025 and to file the Settlement documents of 2185 depositors before the TNPID Court, Coimbatore in C.C.No.23 of 2012 at earliest. For Petitioner : Mr.V.T.Balaji For Respondent : Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan Government Advocate

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking permission to mark the settlement documents in respect of 2185

depositors before the TNPID Court, Coimbatore, in C.C.No.23 of 2012.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner is an accused. Without even approaching the trial court to mark the settlement documents in respect of 2185 depositors, the petitioner simply made a representation, that too, before the competent authority and filed this petition. When the trial is under progress, the petitioner can very well approach the trial court for appropriate relief.

4. In view of the above, the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be considered. Thus, the writ petitioner lacks merit and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
