O R D E R

Mr.TNC.Kaushik, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondent and is armed with instructions to proceed with the matter finally. Hence, by consent of both sides, in fact at request of learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is disposed finally even at the stage of admission.

2. The petitioner seeks a mandamus directing the respondent to consider his application for issuance of legal heirship certificate of one Soundarrajan.

3. The petitioner relies on Circular No.9 of 2019 Rc.No.RA5 (3)/180/2017 dated 24.09.2019, wherein general instructions have been issued for the issuance of legal heirship certificate.

4. Be that as it may, since learned counsel for the respondent does not dispute the position that the application is pending and certain documents are awaited from the petitioner including no objection certificate from the Tahsildar, Velachery under whose jurisdiction the death certificate of the deceased Soundararajan had been issued and assures the Court that the application will be disposed once the petitioner complies with all the formalities including furnishing of no objection certificate as aforesaid, the ball now lies in the Court of the petitioner to furnish the documents sought for.

5. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Writ Petition is disposed directing the respondent to issue certificate, once the petitioner has submitted the entirety of the documents, within a period of two (2) weeks from date of receipt of all documents. No costs.
