Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the respondents to further investigate the case filed in CR.No.157 of 2019 registered under Section 174 Cr.P.C. on the basis of the complaint lodged to the second respondent by the petitioner dated 23.04.2019 and file final report before the Court concern. ORDER

This petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to further investigate the case filed in CR.No.157 of 2019 registered under Section 174 Cr.P.C.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on a complaint, the case was registered in Crime No. 157 of 2019 for the offences under Section 174 Cr.P.C., by the respondent Police. After completing the investigation, the respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Police closed this case as "Further Action Dropped" and filed a final report along with R.C.S. notice No.13 of 2020, before the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Maduranthagam.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, further investigation of the case in Crime No.157 of 2019 for the offences under Section 174 Cr.P.C., cannot be granted.

4. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a petition before the concerned Court, in the manner known to law.
