Service Regulation and consequently direct the 1st and 2nd Respondents to include the petitioners names for being consider for promotion

to the post of Assistant Executive Engineer in the Annexure of the impugned letter by placing them in the appropriate roster point and carried forward the reserved turns backlog vacancies for SC/ST employees as per the T.N.E.B. O R D E R

The learned counsel for the Petitioners did not login at the hearings on 10.11.2020, 01.12.2020 and 08.12.2020. Consequently in order to provide a final opportunity, the matter was posted today. Once again, there is no appearance for the Petitioners. The learned standing counsel for TNEB is present and submits that a counter affidavit has been filed.

2. In view of the continued non-appearance of the learned counsel for the Petitioners in spite of granting several adjournments, this writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
