The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking to grant leave to the petitioner to file the appeal against the order of acquittal passed against the respondents by order dated 09.02.2018 in Crl.A.No.232 of 2013 by the V Additional Sessions Court, Chennai.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent has no objection for this petition being allowed.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed and leave is granted to the petitioner to prosecute the appeal.

4. Registry is directed to number the criminal appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and post the main case for admission.
