Crl.OP No.2379 of 2021 N. ANAND VENKATESH, J., Mr.C.Raghavan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for 1st respondent.

2. In the present case, an FIR was registered in the year 2014. The petitioner had earlier approached this Court and filed Crl.OP No.699 of 2015, seeking to quash the FIR. This Court disposed of the petition by an order dated 21.02.2020, directing the petitioner to submit all the relevant records and further directed the respondent police to consider the same and take a decision. The grievance of the petitioner is that the relevant documents were placed before the respondent police and till date, the same has not been acted upon and the FIR is kept pending.

3. The learned Government Advocate on instructions submitted that the investigation was completed and final report was filed before the learned judicial Magistrate, Alandur, on 28.02.2019. This was the same stand taken by the respondent police even in previous quash petition and it was informed that the final report has been returned by raising certain queries. This Court took the same into consideration and permitted the petitioner to submit all the relevant documents to the respondent police and directed the respondent police to take a decision on the same. submitted by the petitioner. It is also seen that there was a subsequent order passed by this Court in the writ petition filed by the petitioner, on 15.12.2020.

The 1st respondent is directed to file a status report before this Court and inform this Court with regard to the enquiry conducted and the materials submitted by the petitioner and the decision taken by the respondent. The respondent police is directed not to file a final report in this case, until further orders are passed in this petition. Post this case on 05.04.2021 for filing status report.
