O R D E R

The petitioner is a Driver appointed by the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation Limited. The petitioner was transferred from Coimbatore to Gudalur by order dated 23.05.2014. He was relieved by order dated 01.10.2014. The petitioner challenges the transfer order on the ground that he was subjected to routine transfers from one place to another. The petitioner has also taken up a contention that his family is placed at Coimbatore and in case he is made to work at Gudalur, it would cause financial difficulties.

2. The present transfer appears to be the sixth one, whereby https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and whereunder he was transferred to Gudalur. In any case, the petitioner has already joined at Gudalur.

3. The learned Standing Counsel for the Corporation, on instructions, submitted that three transfer orders were made pursuant to the request made by the petitioner.

4. There is nothing on record to show that the petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondent to review the order of transfer.

5. The petitioner is given liberty to submit a comprehensive representation to the respondent. The respondent is directed to consider the said representation on merits, taking into account the earlier orders of transfer and the fact that his family is presently located at Coimbatore. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of representation.

6. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. The connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
