Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to mutate the revenue records in the Patta for the lands comprised in Old Survey No.423/2 in New Survey No.423/5 to an extent of 2 acres 92 cents situated at Madura Padavanoor Village, Jollarpet Post, Yellagiri Mount, Thirupathur District and consequently, direct the respondents to issue fresh patta in the petitioner's name.

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to mutate the revenue records and to issue a fresh patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.D.Suriyanarayanan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokul Krishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. The petitioner had earlier approached this Court and filed W.P.No.26495 of 2023 for similar relief. However, the revenue official belonging to Vellore was added as party. The writ petition was disposed of by an order dated 31.10.2023 by issuing necessary directions. The petitioner did not realize that there is already a bifurcation and the jurisdiction falls within the revenue officials at Tirupathur. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the earlier order passed by this Court, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit an OnLine application to the fourth respondent by providing all the particulars and on receipt of the same, a decision shall be taken within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of the fresh OnLine application from the petitioner. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
