ORDER

This criminal revision petition is filed to set aside the judgment of conviction and sentence passed by the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Ranipet in S.C.No.187 of 2012 dated 12.02.2020 confirmed by the learned II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ranipet, Vellore by his order dated 16.11.2021 in Crl.A.No.24 of 2020.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner died and death certificate also produced in this regard. He further submitted that though in the death certificate the name of the deceased is stated as Parthasarathi, the Tahsildar confirms that the petitioner/Parthiban is also called as Parthasarathi. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also confirms the same.

4.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor confirming the death of the petitioner, this Criminal Revision Petition is dismissed as abated.
