Prayer: Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of Mandamus directing the second and third respondents to accord sanction for building plan pursuant to the application submitted by the petitioner on 30.10.2021 vide receipt No.2021-22/ON/0957994 in respect of the property of the petitioner lying in S.No.12/2 of Sadayankuppam Village, Thiruvotriyur Taluk, Greater Chennai Corporation vide Plot No.12 in Block No.4 in the Scheme known as Manali Phase I, Tamil Nadu Housing Board Neighbourhood Scheme measuring an extent of 1700 sq.ft. within a time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to accord sanction for the building plan pursuant to the application submitted by the petitioner on 30.10.2021 vide receipt No.2021-22/ON/0957994 in respect of the property of the petitioner lying in S.No.12/2 of Sadayankuppam Village, Thiruvotriyur Taluk, Greater Chennai Corporation vide Plot No.12 in

Block No.4 in the Scheme known as Manali Phase I, Tamil Nadu Housing Board Neighbourhood Scheme measuring an extent of 1700 sq.ft.

2. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation sought reasonable time to consider the petitioner's representation and to pass orders.

3. In view of the fact that the application of the petitioner dated 30.10.2021 is pending with the respondents 2 and 3, this writ petition is disposed of directing the third respondent to consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
