The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus directing the first and second respondents to consider the petitioner's representation given through his counsel dated 27.07.2021 seeking to rectify and mention correctly the date of birth of his son J.G.Joe Pinto as 27.07.1996 instead of 27.07.1997, on merits and in accordance with 2/6
law and within a time to be stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's son is a dyslexic student and was studying in the fourth respondent school. He would further submit that the petitioner's son's date of birth was wrongly mentioned as 27.07.1997 instead of 27.07.1996. It is the submission of the learned counsel that the petitioner's son's birth was registered before the Greater Chennai Corporation as early as 05.08.1996. In this connection, the petitioner has given a representation through his counsel dated 27.07.2021, and such representation is yet to be considered by the respondents.
4. At this juncture, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first and second respondents would submit that they will consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.18592 of 2025, dated 19.06.2025.

In view of the above fair submission, without going into the merits of this writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the second respondent to send a proposal to the Director of Government Examination, DPI Campus, College Road, Chennai - 6 to enter the correct date of birth, within a period of two weeks. On receipt of such proposal, the Director of Government Examination, DPI Campus, College Road, Chennai - 6, is directed to pass a final order based on the order of this Court in W.P.No.18592 of 2025, dated 19.06.2025, within a period of four weeks thereafter.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
