(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.R.Sunil Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate, for the respondents.

2.The case of the petitioner is that S.No.45/1, situated at Panickankuppam Village, Cuddalore District, is an 'Odai' and there is encroachment on the same. Hence, he has prayed that the said S.No.45/1 be maintained as 'Odai'.

3.The learned Government Advocate has filed the counter affidavit of the second respondent, Tahsildar, Taluk Office, Panruti, wherein it is stated that S.No.45/1 is still maintained as 'Odai', and there is no encroachment in the said 'Odai'. In view of the counter-affidavit of the second respondent, no further order is necessary.

The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. No costs.
