O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to conduct survey and measurement in respect of the property measuring the Western 35 1/2 cents out of 41 cents comprised in S.F. No. 320 / 5A Siruvangur Village Kallakurichi Taluk and District by considering his representation dated 07.01.2023 and the challan No. 20221223004334 dated 23.12.2022 for payment of survey charges.

2. The petitioner has given a representation on 07.01.2023 to survey the land and to subdivide the land and issue patta in respect of the property at S.F. No. 320 / 5A Siruvangur Village Kallakurichi Taluk and District. In order to consider the said representation, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that, since the petitioner had already paid the necessary fee, the 2nd respondent Tahsildar would consider the application dated 23.12.2022 and do the needful within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order. "That there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 23.12.2022 and do the needful for completing the survey of the petitioner's land within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
